"Top Ten!...this could easily be a top 5. But the incredible Playin>Scarlet>Playin from 8/6 just has to put that one over the top. This show is a very special show tho, where the "X" factor is there is abundance. Every song has that sweet flavor, and every note played with conviction. Jerry gives us a great Cumberland, Half Step and a Black Peter. Plus a rare-only time Let it Rock. The jam into Ship of Fools is a masterpiece in miniature. And I believe the Dark Star Jam was selected for the Many Roads box set, yes? Phil takes the lead on Spanish Jam and drives the band into the best? version of 1974 (see also 7/19 and 7/29). Great Wall of Sound, and a show you'll never get tired of. Recommended!"

Wow, what a sweet stream - any more suggestions, oldies and goodies I might have forgotten about?

Does anyone have a clean copy that they would like to share?

Thanks bro. How's your weekend going?

I am also jammin to 6-8-90, sweet stream too. A hell of a Sunday nite in Bangkok. Just wish there were some Heads in town.

Anyone out there - or here?

Thanks Cliff, another fine call... I have this one on tape, haven't heard it in awhile though. I'll give a listen a little later... ;)

6/22 and 6/23 both circulate as excellent audience tapes by the standards of '73-74. 6/23 is far and away the better show and it's one of the few where both the audience and the board see about equal time on my player.

I posted about the DS>SJ>USB a few weeks ago, but the whole show is killer, and an AUD to boot! I listen to this regularly and have not been disappointed at all. Good call, as per your usual.
